Peak of Perfection

After James and Caitlin's Wedding (a post is coming about that soon: cross my heart) Steven and I went to go see Batman: The Dark Knight. The oh- so- beautiful Christian Bale was fabulous, but it was Heath Ledger that stole the show. He was AMAZING as the Joker! I honestly think it was his best role. Normally, Heath Ledger played the guy next door but in this movie he really pushed himself to a level of dark and twisted that was believable and frightening. It is a common idea that the artists who die in their prime are eternally brilliant because we never see them deteriorate, that is what Heath Ledger did with this role. If you haven't seen this, it is very worth it. I heard a few rumors that it was scary but this scaredy cat didn't think so. Great action, great costumes, great story line, great acting. A+
