This is a doll I'm working on for the new baby in the friend-group: Kavenia. I used a black apple template available through the Martha Stewart website.
I still need to whip-stitch her head closed and paint on her face. The painting hasn't been done yet because I'm super nervous about it. :/

OMGoodness she is soooo cute! I know what you mean about painting on the face, that freaks me out too. My suggestion, and what I would do...get some felt and sew on the features. Kinda like what I did with the SkullShie ornament. It's less stressful, for sure! Be sure to hide ur knots. That can be a pain.
